Stunning! Great beers and what goes with beers, Pizza! You can also get wine. The setting on the farm is absolutely gorgeous under the big trees. Kids loved the play area and the restrooms were spotless. Will be back again, the Necteron and Riwaka Ipa was very nice! And thanks to all the friendly staff that made our day great.

Highly recommended brewery close to Durbanville on the Contermanskloof farm. Off the beaten track with a great vibe and super service. Although the menu is limited, beer and pizza, it is absolutely worth a visit. You order inside the brewery and some friendly young ladies will serve the delicious pizza, best ever. The beers are amazing. Coffee shop for the non-drinkers and a nice little play park for the kids.

Excellent little brewery tucked inside Contermanskloof farm. It's around 1.5 km from the main road. The inside road is a dirt road but okay to drive with any car. They have a very limited menu mostly beer and pizzas. The beers were great and the pizzas exceptional. The atmosphere is also very nice.

I am glad to say that since my last visit to Starke Brews, they have only grown and exceeded all my expectations. The brewery itself is a great spot for families and beer enthusiasts alike. As a parent of young children, I was very glad to be able to boot a table within the kids' play area. There are a couple of shaded tables allowing you to keep an eye on your kids while enjoying the brewery's craft beers. For those without kids, there is also an area away from the screaming kids to relax and unwind. The brewery has a nice selection of beers available, and I really enjoyed everything I tried. While enjoying the beers, we decided to grab one of their Sassy Salami pizzas, which was one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. There are even soft drinks and ice cream available, ensuring everyone, including the kids, are catered for. To round everything off, the friendly and efficient staff, combined with the live music, created a fun and energetic atmosphere. It is good to note, the gravel road leading to the brewery was in decent condition, easily accessible for most vehicles. Overall, I had a great time at Starke Brews and was very impressed to see how much they have improved since my last visit.

This is an amazing place for the entire family. While you can enjoy a fabulous beer tasting experience and delicious wood-fired pizzas, the kids can explore the huge play area with a jungle gym, slide, sandpit, monkey bars and all the things a playground should have. The bar is self-serviced, so you will have to place your order directly at the bar, but the friendly staff will bring the food to your table and you can simply sit down at the beer garden and soak in the relaxed atmosphere.
