D’Aria was average at best. The menu felt quite limited, especially if you’re not drinking alcohol — there were very few non-alcoholic options available. The cheese and tapas boards were also pretty underwhelming and nothing really stood out. Overall, the experience was just average and didn’t feel particularly memorable. Unfortunately, to top it off, there was also a really unpleasant smell outside that honestly affected the experience. Expected a lot more.

Thanks so much for the great quality wines — I even had to take a picture! I was hosting an event and ordered a variety of bottles, from wine to gin. The D’Aria team did not disappoint. Delivery was on time, and everything was perfect. I ended up being the best host because my event had some of the best drinks in Johannesburg, and all my friends and family were happy. 😊 Quality 10/10

D'aria was a very nice experience with friends. I enjoyed their wines and the estate is beautiful. There is a squirrel that will tax you on your fruits and nuts. It got a bit eerie as it was during their harvest week which they had a wine under the stars. This was a lovely experience and will definitely be back. Altydgedact, is not on google maps any longer. So before you approach D'aria on tygervalley road, Altydgedacht, a beautiful wine estate that closed down in 2023 are still selling wines at lower prices. Altydgedact is a beautiful estate and it means always in thought/remembered. I hope they will be able to make wines again in future as it is amazing. So if you happen to pass there, please stop by for some wines and support them.I enjoyed the sauvignon blanc,gewurtztraminer, barbera and the pinotage. For this variety I paid about R310. I will attach the wine pics and estate in the pics.

So lovely to sit on the deck overlooking the pond with the beautiful bird life, Yellow weavers, ducks & many others. Hendrina the squirrel also came to greet us & appreciated a couple of nuts. Lovely setting!! Highly recommended!!

Valentine’s Set Menu at D'Aria ❤️🍷 We had such a beautiful Valentine’s evening at D’Aria. The set menu had an amazing variety and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. For starters, we had the jalapeño Terrace Bombs and the crumbed mushrooms — both full of flavour and the perfect way to start the evening. For mains, we both chose the sirloin steak, cooked medium rare. It was perfectly pink, tender, juicy and had that delicious smoky wood-fired flavour. Exactly as requested — spot on! 🔥👌 Dessert was the Amarula Don Pedro and the chocolate brownie. The Don Pedro was creamy and indulgent, and the brownie was rich and decadent — especially with the ice cream. The portions were so generous that we had to take a doggy bag home! Definitely great value for money. A special mention to our waiter, Rayan — friendly, attentive and professional all evening. He truly made the experience even more enjoyable. Romantic atmosphere, excellent service, generous portions and fantastic food. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
