A lovely experience at Canto. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Quite a popular spot but enough seating to accommodate everyone. Big picnic area which also doubles as a play area for kids. Did the food and wine pairing. The arancini balls are delicious and beautifully presented. Favorite wine was definitely the pinotage, great with the pairing but great on its own as well. Highly recommend getting a pizza. Thin crust but no shortage of toppings. Beautiful cheese pull and it's packed with flavor. Will be back for the MCC and Macaron pairing.

I really enjoyed canto's wines. This picturesque wine estate whispers dreamy wedding location. It's simply beautiful. We had a Margherita pizza with our wine tasting and left with some wines and a wonderful experience.

We recently held our wedding at Canto Winery, and it is truly a hidden gem that deserves so much more recognition. While many people often look toward Stellenbosch or Franschhoek, the Durbanville Wine Valley is a seriously underrated area that more people need to explore and Canto is the crown jewel of the region. The scenery and ambience are simply breathtaking. Our photographer was in absolute heaven with the scenic views, the perfectly manicured grass, and the pristine state of the well-kept vineyards. The property is maintained with such visible pride; from the building’s architecture to the immaculate grounds, the upkeep is flawless. We opted for minimalistic decor because the interior of the venue is already so elegant and beautiful on its own it truly didn't need much to look spectacular. The stars of the show, however, were the exceptional Canto wines. Our guests haven't stopped raving about them, especially the award-winning MCC, which was a massive hit and added such a sophisticated touch to our celebration. A huge thank you to Christelle for her incredible leadership during the planning stages. She made us feel so special even sharing a tequila shot with each of us separately right before we walked down the aisle to settle our nerves! On the day itself, Nadia was phenomenal, managing every detail with total grace and shielding us from any "behind-the-scenes" hiccups. The entire staff operated like a well-oiled machine, ensuring everything was seamless. If you want a stunning, stress-free venue with world-class views, service, and wine, look no further than Canto. — Melanie & Regan

We made a spur of the moment decision to visit canto for their MCC tasting on Sunday and were very happy we did so. Haven’t been for some years and am glad to see how they have evolved their wines and tasting menu as well as adding on a gourmet pizza menu. The MCC pairing was excellent. We also shared a biltong and blue cheese pizza which was to die for. If you are a fan of light crispy thin pizza crusts this is the place for you! Also worthwhile to add they have an exceptional award winning merlot which is not to be missed. All in all a lovely lazy casual afternoon. I see some comments here on the service or lack of. We found it to be the complete opposite, our waiter (forgot his name oops!) was fantastic. Attentive knowledgable and passionate about the products on offer. Note if you do the picnic style option it is all self service. We had such a good time we have booked again for December.

We had pizza and a MCC / macaron pairing. The pizza was nice, but not wow. Maybe could have added more toppings, the crust was nice. Service was good and friendly and the venue looked stunning, but it was a bit hot inside, even though there was a breeze going through the building. Will come again, but won't necessarily go out of my way to get there. Thank you.
