Visit our winery in Constantia for wine tastings and picnic lawns
They don’t offer a winery tour, but the tasting is great. Very pleasant waiter/sommelier, knew a lot about wine and was really friendly. There’s also a coffee shop and restaurant on site. Note they close at 17:00 and the last tasting is at 15:30.
Had a wonderful wine tasting and cheese platter. Really recommend. Hostes was really informative and made it a pleasant experience. Will come again
Well, I don't know where to begin! To me, Buitenverwachting is like a magical fantasy! Simply beautiful! The people, staff, food, wine. I am blown away! I feel like a child in a fairy tale. 5 stars is too little. I'd give it more. We were given a gift voucher for an adjacent farm, but after our meal I asked my husband to please take me to Buitenverwachting (again). I can't explain the feeling, maybe like a kid in a toy store. Even today, I had a glass of the wine I purchased there. Definitely my favorite place.
Always a joy bringing African Moon Adventures clients too Buitenverwachting. Greeted and seeted by the lovely bubbly Chantel after which John John did a tasting for my clients while they were enjoying something to eat. A good time was had by all.
Went for a tasting here before lunch at Beyond. Such a beautiful setting in the old historical building, looking across the lawns I managed to get a table on the stoep Very knowledgeable server, and you were able to taste a big range of wines The whites were definitely my favourite The platters looked very good and one to remember for my next visit to Constantia If you want a table on the stoep, it’s definitely worth booking
