This is a hidden gem! It’s some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is artistic, warm and cozy. I had a latte with almond milk and my sister a hot chocolate, which was also some of the best I’ve tasted. I would definitely recommend stopping here.

Despite stormy weather and no electricity it still felt cozy in Alcove Coffee Roastery. The coffee was amazing (I had an Americano and my husband a cappuccino. The carrot cake was delicious.

We stumbled upon a charming restaurant in Ceres quite by accident, and what a delightful find it was! The setting strikes a perfect balance between green countryside and urban charm. I enjoyed the best carrot cake I’ve ever tasted—homemade by a local baker—and the coffee, served in elegant china cups rather than paper, added to the old-world atmosphere inside. The owner personally came over to chat, making us feel so welcome. Anyone passing through Ceres should definitely stop in—it’s an absolute gem! I would love to know where to buy their coffee as I didn’t see it for sale on the premises. If anyone knows…

Warm & Enthusiastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Alcove is an absolute gem in Ceres! The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff and owners are incredibly friendly. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again. A must-visit coffee stop in town!

A wonderful stop that we’re so glad we found. The coffee was excellent and the cookies were just as good — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really made the visit special, though, was the staff’s local knowledge. We got fantastic advice on which driving route to take to enjoy more of the beautiful mountain views we might otherwise have missed. A perfect combination of great treats and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!
