What a wonderful experience! From the comfortable transport and warm hospitality to the carefully selected wine estates, delicious food, and informative tastings, the entire day was exceptionally well organised. As someone working in the tourism industry, I especially appreciated the professionalism, attention to detail, and passion shown throughout the day. It was both enjoyable and educational, and I left with a greater appreciation for the Cape Winelands. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed, well-planned wine tour. I took the Stellenbosch wine tour. I had a fantastic time with our tour guide Henri. The amount of knowledge, the music entertainment and meals was great. Alethea, the organiser, kept in touch and updated me all through the morning pick up hiccups. Overall, the tour was awesome.

10/10 tour with Julian - had the best day on the Stellenbosch and Franshhoek one region. I did the four wine farms with lunch, biltong, cheese and chocolate and couldn't have hoped for a better trip. Julian picked me up on time, from the right place, he was great company, relaxed, knowledgeable and fun. I would ten thousand percent recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great experience.

We did two tours with Wine Flies- the small group tour to Stellenbosch with Henry and a private tour for two to Franschoek with Julian. Both tours were fantastic! We got to visit a wide variety of beautiful wine farms and drink exceptional wines in every style. I loved how the quality of the wines was top tier, yet there was never even one bit of pretentiousness. Henry and Julian were both extremely knowledgeable and made our tours so much fun! We’ve done a number of wine tours in various places during our travels, but these were hands down the best we’ve ever done. We will absolutely be booking another tour with Wine Flies on our next trip to Cape Town and couldn’t recommend them more highly!

The best wine tour I’ve ever done — truly royal treatment from start to finish! Review: I’ve done winery tours around the world, and Wine Flies is hands down one of the very best experiences I’ve ever had. Pick-up was perfectly on time, the day flowed effortlessly, and everything felt smooth, safe, and thoughtfully organised. The highlight was our guide (the “Lord/Lady” title is absolutely deserved!). Exceptionally knowledgeable, genuinely warm, and brilliantly fun — they explained wine in a way that was easy to understand while keeping the energy upbeat all day. Even with a group of strangers, the atmosphere quickly felt relaxed and friendly. The winery selection was outstanding: a great mix of beautiful estates and smaller boutique spots with real character. The tastings were generous and high-quality, and the food pairings (especially cheese/chocolate) were next level — you could genuinely taste how flavours changed with each pairing. Lunch was delicious too, and the overall value was excellent. If you’re in Cape Town and want the ultimate Winelands day out, book Wine Flies. We’ll be recommending them to everyone — and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for an unforgettable day!
