Our tour guide was Cedric, and he was friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the first 40 minutes of the 1.5-hour Bo-Kaap tour until a woman in our group of four started to hijack the experience, treating it as her own private tour. She spent over 10 minutes talking about her home country, Brazil, and the similarities between its history of slavery and Cape Town's. After 10 minutes of listening to this, I politely asked Cedric to refocus on Bo-Kaap, as that was what I had signed up for. However, after a short time, the woman hijacked the tour again. I wish the guide had paid equal attention to everyone—even in a small group—and stayed on track with the Bo-Kaap history. I ended up leaving the tour early because I felt neglected.

It was just me on the Apartheid to Freedom tour and Nizaam was amazing, he still did tour and was very knowledgeable and told it in a really good way. Definitely recommend going. He also recommended things for me to do after and appreciated that.

We really had an awesome time with our guide Glenn Macleod Smith on Friday in the Bokaap. He was very informative and friendly, with all keeping up because of his perfect walking pace. We learnt a lot about our own city on the walk and will be returning for the historical City Tour next week - plus getting an all day ticket for the City Sightseeing red and blue hop on/off bus routes very soon too. Thanks to all at the awesome Long Street office.

We did the History walking tour with Milo on a showery Saturday morning. The weather didn't put us off to walk for 1 1/2 hours and get to learn a lot about the history of Southafrica and mainly Cape Town. There was so much to listen. Thanks Milo for your time. The free tours are great you just show up 10 minutes before and go.Not commitments or rush because you tip after the tour, the guides really deserved it. Give it a go.

Good day we did the free walking tours ( historic and Bokaap) we had an excellent guide, Sheldon. He was knowledgeable and locals seem to like him as well. I wi) highly recommend Sheldon. I'm a native Capetonian and it was great to hear what is said about my beautiful city...
