Fully recommend this wine tour with African Story Wine Tours. Basil was prompt picking up and an excellent guide giving the local history of region. We went to 4 wine estates-Muratie was beautiful, very relaxing tasting wine in beautiful surroundings. Le Pommier was equally superb with an excellent lunch & amazing Mountain Views. Eikehof offered a different perspective. Fairview with cheese pairing topped the day. All our hosts were knowledgable and shared the wines excellent notes. Great day, great value for money would recommend 100%. Basil took on a great memorable South African wine story.

Very mediocre if you’ve been on wine tours elsewhere. My Family of four were looking forward to the wine tour but realized during the tour that it would have been helpful to have been provided the names of the wineries and lunch location. Turned out that the only option was the lowest or cheapest of any wine tasting options. Would have been helpful to have been informed and then given the options. Lunch at La Pommelier wasn’t that great and the only wine tour that was worth any salt was Fairview. Took pictures there. How does one go on a wine tour in the cape and not have a Pinotage or Chenin Blanc as part of the tasting menu. The guide was very informative and helpful but we had to ask for these specifically. Wont recommend unless More information is provided before the tour so we can make an informed decision and look at other options.

Sensational day touring four different Cape wineries. Our guide Donovan was hugely knowledgable about wines from all over the world, but especially the Cape, as well as entertaining and telling us all about the history. Pretty decent lunch too. Some stunning scenery as well. I’d mark it even higher if I could! Thank you so much!

I had one free day in Cape Town while here for work. I decided on a whim to book a wine tour to see some of the countryside and try some wines. They were prompt with picking me up in a well labeled van. Our guide was very informative about each winery we stopped at. I enjoyed the wineries that we stopped at. The restaurant for lunch was good and large portions. My favorite was the last winery with the cheese pairings. For the price, I felt that it was worth it.

Bruce was an amazing wine host and tour guide. He was very educated and taught us a lot of practical points about wine consumption and pairing. The settings were beautiful and the wineries were very hospitable. Of all of the tours that I did in South Africa, this was my favorite. I highly recommend this tour.
