About Life Flight
Life Flight is a non-profit organization in Wellington providing time-critical aeromedical care. We deploy the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and Air Ambulance Planes to assist over 30 people weekly, including critically ill babies and remote medical emergencies. Our Air Ambulance Planes function as flying intensive care wards, transferring patients needing specialist care, while the Westpac Rescue Helicopter responds to urgent situations where minutes matter or locations are challenging.
