We recently popped into the bistro for a bite to eat and enjoyed the service and vibe. Our server was Bella, who was just lovely, super attentive and most welcoming. We had an amazing pizza which was super loaded, fries and a bevy or two. We’ll definitely be back.

Pub grub food with a few specials thrown in. Restaurant has a nice vibe and staff are attentive and helpful. The restaurant is right in the middle of Martinborough. Wide range menu so something for everyone. Menu explained well by waiter. Portions are on the smaller side and unfortunately the fish chowder was very underwhelming, with very little fish and a soup like consistency. Really needed to be thickened up and some whole prawns and mussels would have helped. We had the desert of bread and butter pudding and apple crumble which were also very small for the price. Probably would return for a drink and snack but not an evening meal.

Staying in the Martinborough Hotel, Union square bistro and bar was a covenant place for dinner. After a lap of the square I sat down to enjoy three meals accompanied by dessert, over three different nights. Each night the service was quality with sport playing on the screens in the bar. The atmosphere was good, the wine selection was good and the meals were tasty.

Fun and cozy bar in the famous Martinborough Hotel—definitely a place I'd recommend! It's a great spot to catch up with family and friends. They even have some fun games to enjoy while you dine. The food was delicious, and our favourites were the mulled wine and the golden fried shrimp-which was just fried to perfection. The staff were warm, friendly- the comfortable couches around the fireplace added the perfect touch for a cosy midwinter celebration. We'll definitely be back!

Union Square Bistro & Bar delivered an unforgettable dining experience. We started with a lovely cold meat platter served with delightful dips and fresh bread. It was a fantastic way to begin the evening, with each bite bursting with flavor. For my main course, I ordered the Beef Eye Filletwith pommes gratin, grilled pumpkin, balsamic onions, and a luxurious mushroom sauce. Each bite was melt in your mouth delicious, hitting all the right notes of flavor and tenderness. To complement the richness of the fillet, i paired it with a lovely glass of red wine, which elevated the meal even further. Overall, my experience at Union Square Bistro & Bar was exceptional. If you find yourself there, don’t miss the cold meat platter and the Beef Eye Fillet – these dishes will surely linger in your memory long after the meal is over! The atmosphere was really nice and calm and cozy.
