Just a fabulous location. So beautiful. The Martinbourough and Greytown experience, where there is so much to do, is enhanced immensely through your stay at the Martinbourough Hotel. It has that old world historical atmosphere with the warmest of interiors welcomed by the amazing staff who are engaging, friendly and nothing is an issue. I can't wait to go back. Its my local, and I live in Auckland!

We stayed one night and had a lovely evening. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was clean, very comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful with tips about where to eat. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is a little gem tucked away about 45 mins away from Wellington. The hotel itself is quaint and cute boutique hotel. The rooms are comfortable, well decorated and have everything you need. The bed was comfortable. The staff are exceptional and go above and beyond for our out there check in and out times (we arrived very late and left super early!) and they had great suggestions, helped us with food even though it was super late. If you like LOTR it’s close to Rivendell where you can go on walks and is near vineyards if you wanted to do a wine tour and even just driving through the countryside is gorgeous. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend.

We had reservations today for lunch at Marti Hotel, it was our first time dining there and omg wow! First impressions are; its absolutely stunning, the dining area is gorgeous and the staff are wonderful. I didn't catch our Servers name unfortunately but he's a slightly older gentleman and he is amazing. He was very friendly, very polite and perfectly attentive. He is the best Server we have had in Wairarapa, Wellington and Manawatu so far. The staff at the White Swan in Greytown could learn alot from this team. The food was DELICIOUS. The best we have had so far in this region. We can highly recommend the pizza, the pasta, the steak and chicken. The drinks were fantastic too. We will definitely be back.

Martinborough Hotel is an amazing place to stay. The Hotel is beautiful and comfortable, with lovely touches such as the welcoming library, which has old world charm. We stayed in a garden suite, which we absolutely loved. It was large and well appointed. The real gem is the staff in the Union Square restaurant and the hotel, they are fantastic. They all seem to have the ability to make all the guests feel that they are valued. Wonderful place to stay for a relaxing peaceful holiday.
