Classic country town pub. Enjoyed a great afternoon playing pool, on the punt and a few beers. Locals were brilliant, making our group welcome. Brilliant.

Never give reviews but this pub has to be given 5 stars! Great vibe, advice and Tanea is the best Uber van driver in the Wairarapa. Genuine. They really look after their punters. Much appreciated 😍

Such amazing ladies here!! My bridal party and I turned up after over the weekend after being treated quite rudely at one of the local wineries and thank god that we did! The ladies here were so amazing and so accommodating xx Joyce was an absolute legend, she served us our beer towers, checked up on us, charged our phones and even gave us a Bluetooth speaker when ours went flat to have out on the deck in the sun! Bloody amazing service, we appreciated you ladies so much it made our whole trip!! Will definitely be back soon x

Does what it says on the box! In an area adorned with glamorous wineries, this is a classic pub serving classic pub drinks and food. If you want a no nonsense pint and chit chat with your mates, this is the spot. We didn't have food, but opted for a couple of drinks. The selection was as expected, and the great bar staff were more than happy to take care of things for us. If you drop in, you should enjoy the down to earth service and style you can only get with a local pub.

The Sunday roasts this winter are AMAZING. Quite possibly the best I've ever had. This has to be Martinboroughs best kept secret.
