What a wonderful experience! Rachel's little Pinot cottage on the outskirts of Martinborough is so beautiful, cosy and comfortable. The garden is beautiful with seating to enjoy it all. You must accept the offer of dinner. She is an amazing chef! Each course is a culinary delight for the taste buds. Rachel welcomed our dogs in and her little dog Mia was as wonderful a host as Rachel herself. I highly recommend this as a dining experience and accommodation.

we had a lovely three night stay with Rachel, Mia and Forte. The room has very well appointed and the private porch was very nice. breakfast was very filling and the homemade jams were great. we had the four course dinner with wine pairings and the lamb was the best I've had in NZ. the private walking winery tour was excellent as well. we left with a bag of fresh fruit from the garden. very close to the city square with an easy walk.

I booked for myself and my wife as part of our grand world adventure. We had the Pinot cottage and the meal including the wine pairing. The cottage was fantastic and my wife still tells me that the sheets on the bed are better than all subsequent hotels and rooms we've since used. Certainly 5 star hotel cotton. But our pièce de résistance was the wonderful meal prepared by Rachel, together with the wine. It's been the unexpected highlight of our trip through New Zealand.

Last June we had the privilege of staying at the Prodigal Daughter Gourmet Lodge with good friends where we were hosted by the fabulous Host and Owner Rachel Priestley. The rooms are beautifully appointed, Rachel's cuisine was simply outstanding (along with the wine pairing!). You have a fabulous business and visitor experience Rachel. We will be back! Best wishes, Tom and Jill Kaewa Tours

Prodigal Daughter is a very welcoming place for couples and families alike. Located in a very peaceful area, it offers cosy accommodations : we were proposed in the main house 3 nicely furnished bedrooms which are decorated with great taste in different styles along their respective names, France, Italy, Morocco. In the adjacent garden, 2 modern lodges can be used independently. Rachel is a truly wonderful host, and of course all meals are a treat. We did not take cuisine lessons, but really enjoyed our time there...
