We visited Poppies twice during our two days in Martinborough, and it was a standout experience both times. On our first visit, we did the wine tasting, which is incredibly affordable at $15. We were fortunate to be served by Marine, whose passion for the wines really shone through. She made the experience engaging and informative, walking us through each option, explaining how they were grown and produced, and even allowing us to swap a few wines from the standard list for ones we were particularly curious about. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next day to try the famous platter, paired with a glass of our favourites from the tasting. The platter was beautifully presented with a wide variety of items. Our waitress, Hayley, did a fantastic job explaining each component. The trio of house-made dips: pea pesto, hummus, and olive tapenade was a highlight. Sitting under the umbrella overlooking the vines was incredibly relaxing. Overall, an exceptional experience with a great atmosphere, high-quality food and wine, and outstanding staff.

What a fabulous place! I loved our wine tasting experience with Poppy, she was really lovely and made our family feel welcomed. We had some amazing platters in such a beautiful setting highly recommended will be back. Thank you Poppy and the rest of your team you are all amazing !

Simply amazing. Wines were tasted with help from the French lady. Very nice. The food amazing simple to order. Tom the waiter was awesome too and took.good care and great photos of us. Really loverly place Doggo freindly.

Another great winery! Wines were a bit pricier than the last place (Moy Hall) but the service from the young guy at cellar door was exceptional. We stayed for lunch and had a platter plus bread and it was so tasty! I've never seen my husband so satisfied. It was great value and fed two adults and two children. Beautiful grounds too. Highly recommend.
