I had a massage at the Day Spa with Nia = she was awesome and I throughly recommend her. What I really appreciated was that they honoured my vouchers which I had inadvertently left at home in Wellington. I had photos of them which they could look up in their system. Thank you so much for doing that.

Absolutely loved our weekend away at Brackenridge. Stayed in one of the charming two bedroom cottages, perfect set up. Facial at the Spa was amazing. And can't beat dining at Tirohana.

Good deep tissue massage I felt relaxed afterwards. Just for the hot stone massage, would have been good to have removed the stones before a client gets up. The booking system is not set up for booking for multiple guests as well.

We recently stayed at Breckenridge Country Retreat for two nights and had a really pleasant experience. I booked directly through their official website just a day before our trip, and the process was quick and easy. The pricing was reasonable for what was offered. Our booking included a complimentary breakfast, which was self-prepared. They provided eggs, bread, milk, oats, juice, along with a variety of jams, butter, and branded coffee. The room was well-equipped with a portable hot plate, frying pan, cutlery, and other basic kitchen appliances, which made it very convenient. The room itself had everything we needed-refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning, heating, a comfortable double bed, and even a bathtub. There was also a wood burner, although no wood was supplied during our stay (we later found out it’s only provided after Easter due to the season). We also enjoyed the free access to the pool and gym. There’s a spa available too, but it comes at an additional cost. Free parking during the stay was another plus. Overall, it’s a quiet and relaxing place, located just a few kilometers from Martinborough town. A great spot for a peaceful getaway!

I had my wedding here toward the end of 2025. This venue and staff gave me the best day of my life! Everything about it was stunning, from the planning, to rehearsal up until the checking out the following day. Bridget and Sue run a tight ship and provide such an incredible experience, there is no other place I would have dreamed of having my wedding, they really did make it a fairy tale. I highly recommend Brackenridge not only for weddings but even for a weekend away, it is a great location and well looked after.
