Attended the Snow Supper as part of the Festival of Christmas in Greytown. Loved it. The food was delicious, gorgeous in presentation. Service was friendly and super helpful. I loved the thought they had put into the Snow Supper experience, we sat outside under the snow, they had cozy blankets to keep warm, the mulled gin was a hit for me. Definitely recommend.

Me and my girlfriend Charlee Burmester loved the hour we spent dining at this hotel restaurant while we stayed in Tauwharenikau for a night. The music playlist was impeccable, manager and host guy so welcoming and helpful. Most of all I loved that we could watch the sport while eating our meals! Thank you

I stayed at The White Swan recently and am so happy to have found this beautiful little gem. I’ve always passed it and never stopped by. The food was so nice, I had the lamb for dinner and I couldn’t recommend it more. I was fortunate to be upgraded and The Governor room did not disappoint. It was modern with a few historical pieces in the room. Just beautiful! Can’t wait to be back there again next week!

We chose to book early for dinner on a Thursday evening. Delightful server who made us very welcome and understood my request for a gluten free meal (coeliac). We were the only customers in the restaurant so were surprised to wait approximately 40 minutes for our meals. However the food was well worth the wait and beautifully cooked and presented. The portions were small but adequate for us. We look forward to visiting again.

This Resto-bar gets crowded as it’s one of the nicest spots in Greytown. The menu is compact but offers really good food, and the staff are friendly. The place has plenty of seating, though reservations are still recommended because it fills up quickly. The only drawback was the wait time for food. We waited about 45–50 minutes, and unfortunately this wasn’t communicated to us in advance. That said, if you’re planning to visit when you’re hungry, it might be a good idea to arrive a bit earlier than usual. Overall, it’s still a great place with good food and a nice atmosphere.
