Was a nice looking cafe, Friendly staff. Prices seemed okay and menu sounded nice. Was a 50 minute wait and it was not busy. My meal was very small for $28. I got the prawn and pork salad. A few leaves of lettuce 3 small pieces of tomato, a few capsicum ribbons, 4 prawns and literally 2 pieces of pork the size of rolling dice. In a sauce. My partners burger was average. Over cooked chicken. Small. Okay coffee 😊 Anyway I still ate it cause we had waited so long and I was starving. Looking at the reviews now and the wait time has been a problem for years!

Mrs quickly ran into get some food on way home and spent $80 litcherly on f all. Average at best chocolate milk shake was terrible had litcherly f all chocolate in it it tasted like straight milk.

Classic cafe, relaxed vibe. We went for brunch and were told our food would take 20 minutes, took much longer with no update in between, frustrating! Food was okay.

Stunning! The service, the kai, the atmosphere , all exceptional. Not only is the kai good-looking, so is the staff! The owners must be incredibly proud, their team is amazing! I ordered the “Platter for One”, recommended by Stacey, and it was spot on. Such a great way to eat . So many delicious options on one plate , my favourite has to be the Braised Pork & Prawn warm salad! Great coffee too! Thank you Stacey for your amazing service. First time visiting, and first impressions last. I’ll definitely be back for more. Kāinga is hospitality done right. Ngā mihi ✨

What an amazing little place! Tohi makes beautiful coffee that tastes just as amazing. The food tastes delicious aswell. Our server stacy was so nice and patient as well with all our modifications. Would 100% recommend this to anyone passing through.
