Urine on our pitch A campsite with inhospitable pitches and poor drainage (muddy, and ground too hard for tent pegs). On the last day, we found urine on our pitch and on the tent itself. We complained at reception, but management completely washed their hands of the matter (they only offered us the use of the laundry facilities and a hose). A very unpleasant experience.

Quiet place. We booked a pitch for our motorhome and the size was adequate. Plenty of shade. Some pitches have picnic tables. There's a very cozy little restaurant where they seem to organize events on weekends (there's been live music and paella recently). The restrooms are fine. The location is good for getting to the center of Prades, although it's a very small village with not much to do. There's a municipal swimming pool nearby. Apparently, if you stay 4 nights, the campsite reception gives you a token, but they didn't tell us this and we paid for pool access. Other campers told us about it later. The receptionist was a bit curt. I made an effort to communicate in French since they don't speak English, Spanish, or Catalan, but she didn't seem to appreciate it much. Simple but pleasant place. With a small, somewhat neglected children's playground. Thanks

Thank you for welcoming us so kindly during the fire. Thank you so much for the directions; we were able to reach Barcarès without any problems. The pitches were lovely, and the sanitary facilities were brand new and very clean. A truly wonderful, family-friendly atmosphere.
