camp it self it nice, little bit noisy (only few hundred m from the highway). Stuff very nice and helpful. The only what I can claim is allowing to stay campers and and caravans next to tents - air condition is noisy and in tent very often is hard to sleep. Another thing - cigarettes, but that's how it is all over France - people smoke 24 hours a day and it really stinks. Most of people don't smoke at the camp, but those few that smoke - they do it even during the night - that is really terrible. France & Italy are the only countries where you can smoke anywhere you want - even in the restaurant! Hope that this will change soon. For the beginning maybe specific area for smokers? Far away from leaving space

We had a week here in a budget mobile home in the pine trees which was reasonably priced. We were caught out the first night when we couldn't light the gas. Take matches or a lighter! A kettle would have been nice. The layout was good and we enjoyed the shady terrace. A negative aspect was some dogs that just wandered freely. Being slobbered on in clean clothes having an apero on your own terrace wasn't nice. I think the management should be tighter on this. Unbelievable that there was no tri selection for rubbish; I thought that was obligatory across Europe. Good value for money, very comfortable but could be improved easily.

If you're looking for a simple camp site without animation, pool and party, this is your place. It's all quite basic, but nice and clean and not expensive. Ideal for caravans and mobile homes, if you're planning to use a tent, I recommend you bring a protective mat as the ground is quite hard hard and stony. You'll need some sort of vehicle as the site is about a 5 minute drive from Salses-Le-Chateau.
