Year-round campground in Salses-le-Château near the Mediterranean Sea
Stop over for your motorhome or caravan, it's flat gravel pitch plenty of room electric waste water drop, it has a swimming pool and restaurant reasonable prices, you are camped by a main road which can be noisy, you have to pay for WiFi, the staff are very friendly
It is OK for an overnight stop north or south. It is basically a fenced car park at the bottom of a permanent cabin type camping. Slight road noise but not too bad. The showers and toilets on the site are dated but seem to be clean enough.
Perfect place to stay when in transit to or from Spain. There was road noise. It didn't bother us. The facilities block was old, but cleaned regularly and had nice hot water in the shower. Parking is very level. Good price for a camper stop with full amenities.
We arrived with the van after hours and were kindly received and let in. Once parked on the site, we had to leave urgently and went back to the reception area to ask if they could lift the barrier for us. They were very understanding, informed us that the barrier opens automatically when you leave and even returned our money. Thank you very much🙌
Nice campsite, mostly with little bungalows a lot of which I think are rented out for long periods to the same people. Nice vibe, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Really nice swimming pool. A little bit noisy as the motorway isn't that far away but not too bad. Careful with the mosquitos though!! 🦟🦟
