Very welcoming staff and Rod, the waiter took very good care of us during several visits. Very tasty food with daily specials that sometimes included dishes not often found, e.g. foie de veau. Huge burgers, wine at 2:50/glass. Food served all day long. We will be back.

The food does look lovely here but we stated drinks and cakes only and then we were seated. The owner came back with drinks and then got mad when we said no food just cakes. I asked should we move to the other part and he slammed the glasses of the drinks we ordered in front of us and handed us the bill. The other waiter stated no desserts, when two minutes later he was calling out the dessert menu to people behind us. This was the only bad service we have received in the locality.
We were very lucky to have come accross this charmimg restaurant! We were welcomed with open arms, big smiles and delicious food! It is very reasonably priced so you can thoroughly enjoy it! We will definitely come back and bring our friends to try it!
In our search for a restaurant we came across 'Bronzette'. How glad we were to find this place in the city center, above the crowdy restaurants (with queues) on the beach. It was worth the walk. It has a cozy terrace and friendly service. And above all: super tasty food. We enjoyed the hummus & guacamole with flat bread as a starter: we can recommend it! The burger and the bowl ‘cocotte’ were also excellent. Thank you Bronzette for giving us a pleasant evening in Argèles-sur-mer. (Picture attached of ‘bowl cocotte’)
