Dr. Riat was wonderful and helped my mother immensely while she was in the hospital. I booked a follow up, and had to wait 3 months for an appointment, this is understandable. To their credit, the office did call me directly on two different occasions to see if we could fit into a cancellation. Unfortunately, I could not take these time slots due to conflicting doctor's appointments. The day before my mother's actual appointment, the office called my 81 year old mother to cancel - - not me, the person who had spoken to the office each and every time, the person listed as the primary contact, and the person that handles all appointments. I handle everything for good reason, the same reason we sought the care of a geriatric specialist. Two weeks later they call my mother again (NOT ME) and advise they cannot accept new patients?? How about honoring the cancelled appointment that we waited three months for? Dr. Riat is fantastic, but I do not feel the office has acted in good faith. Way to string people along, and dump them by being a sneak and calling a secondary contact number that was never used previously! Unprofessional and unacceptable. I am only giving two stars because of Dr. Riat, and I do not blame her directly for this fiasco.
