I ventured into the hills of Litchfield to visit Woodbury Hobbies today with a vague idea of what I wanted. After a friendly greeting and an offer of assistance I was left to my own devices to choose an rc kit. There was a healthy choice of vintage re release kits from Tamiya, Kyosho, and Associated. I ended up with a gorgeous Optima that I'm very excited to spend some time with. I appreciate the relaxed vibe and friendly conversation. The prices were competitive with what you'll find online. It's worth a trip to your local (or not so local) hobby shop for the experience of checking out the box graphics in person and being able to talk with someone who has knowledge of the hobby.
