Woodbury CT Vounteer Fire Department

Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department is a fire station in Woodbury providing protection of life, property, and the environment. We were officially recognized in June 1928 and respond to approximately 350 calls for assistance and emergencies each year. Our department maintains seven pieces of apparatus, a UTV, a Haz-Mat trailer, and a Command Vehicle. We also offer fire and life safety resources, including information on cooking fire safety, fire extinguisher safety, and home fire escape planning. We are funded by the Town of Woodburys municipal budget and operate under officers elected by our firefighters and members. All our officers and firefighters meet inter-department and state-mandated training and certification requirements.
