If you like being told you don't know your own kid as well as they do, this place is for you. My daughter (9yo) was diagnosed with ADHD, just two months before we started to attend Wolf Spirit. Not only did they tell me they don't "like ADHD, because it's such an umbrella diagnosis", but they refused to accept it, and even attempted to talk myself, my mother, and my daughter into believing ADHD is not real. Just because you don't like something, doesn't make it not real. I was also accused of drugging my daughter without her knowledge; and when I brought up that she was on a non-stimulant ADHD med, I was accused of sedating my daughter. I pulled her from the practice, and she's made more strides and progress in the short amount of time she's been there, than the entire year we were with Wolf Spirirt. They also have a very strange moral code of protecting abusers. Known abusers. You have to produce a broken limb, or a dead body, these days, for people to accept that. Highly disappointed in this practice.

Getting billing and management to show knowledge and respect was appalling. Getting meds was a nightmare. There are better places than this crap show. There is more to therapy than talking to someone. It’s your time and money too! I found better.

The day after I experienced the tragic loss of someone I loved dearly I called Wolf Spirit. I told them how badly I was suffering and that I desperately needed someone to speak to asap. They told me they would try their best to get me in that day. After an hour or two, they called me back with an appointment. I had a meeting with someone wonderful who changed me in such a positive way! She taught me so much in just a few months! Helping me with way more than just my grief and sadness, this therapist helped me change the way I have thought about certain things my whole adult life. This change, has helped me be a way -more happier, stronger, person! I will always and forever be grateful to Wolf Spirt Wellness and Counseling for being there for me when no one else was!

I’ve had several therapists over the course of my life (not because I’m crazy although I am you see, we’re allllll mad here) but Cheryl at Wolf Spirit Wellness has been SO kind to me and Jules (I hope I am right) at the desk when I call is always so sweet. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful human beings, lovely work being done, lovely souls!

Very disappointing experience. First was told they did not accept Medicare, then offered a student for counseling and I declined. Called me a week later and said they had someone. First counselor was clearly a student who needed much more guidance,. After 2 visits they told me she was not in the practice any longer and offered another person. Again, clearly a student but with more experience and I felt I was making progress. Unfortunately my husband was having extensive surgery so I called to cancel upcoming scheduled appointments until he was able to be home alone. I continued to receive appointment reminders and called each time to remind them of my situation. When ready to return I was informed that they would not schedule an appointment as I had cancelled too many, but could go on a waiting list. All in all scheduling was handled very unprofessionally and communication from this practice was either not truthful or misleading.
