“The surcharge law prevents businesses from collecting any fee or charge that increases the total amount of the transaction if that fee or charge is imposed as a result of the method of payment used. Often times this happens when consumers attempt to use credit cards. The surcharge law can be found at Connecticut General Statutes § 42-133ff as amended by Sec. 28 of Public Act 24-142.”

Just got my emissions test done here and it was super easy! The staff was really friendly and efficient. They even explained what they were doing. I'll definitely be back for all my car needs. Highly recommend them!

I went there on Thursday and called ahead—they gave me an appointment just three days later. They replaced my radiator in a single day and even filled my fluids. I’m very happy with the work they did; this is definitely my go-to garage. If I could give them a 10, I would! The only downside was the payment—I was charged a little extra for using a card. I wish they had told me beforehand, as I would’ve brought cash or a check. Other than that, their service was absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend them.

The Murrays' always make you feel welcome. I go in for emissions checks as needed. Today I was in and out quickly. I paid in the front, drove around back. The gentleman did the testing while my mom waited in the car. I return next year because I was late, thank you CT.
