Head Massages?! Yes-- My brilliant stylist Mandie is also doing head massages, and they are divine. If you've ever thought that your pre-cut/style shampooing should last longer, here it is. I JUST had my first session--- I went for the full hour and it was exactly the right amount of time. Since I didn't know what to expect going in, I won't spoil it for others. Picture this, though:lay down "the table"-- it has a sink at the top. Add relaxing music, and the d-stressing begins.

I’ve been going to Making the Kut for a while now and always leave feeling amazing. Stephanie does my highlights, color, and extensions and absolutely nails it every single time. She really listens to what you want, pays attention to detail, and somehow always makes my hair look even better than I imagined. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also so sweet and makes the whole experience relaxing and fun. The salon itself is welcoming, clean, and everyone is friendly. I constantly get compliments on my hair and it’s all thanks to Stephanie. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough great things about Mandie! Not only does she do an absolutely amazing job every single time, but she also makes the whole experience so enjoyable. From the moment you sit in her chair, you feel welcomed and at ease. Mandie really listens to what you want and somehow makes it even better than you imagined. Mandies attention to detail, talent, and friendly personality keeps me coming back every time. I always leave feeling confident and refreshed. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for both incredible results and a great experience! Making the cut is awesome and their boutique is so fun! Check them out!

I was nervous about switching from my old salon to a new one. Stephanie came highly recommended by a friend. My friend was right. Stephanie evaluated my cut and color and I was thrilled with the results. She did a great job coloring and cutting my hair. I’m sorry I didn’t come sooner! The shop is relaxing and has a nice boutique also.

I have been going to this salon since I moved to Connecticut a year ago. Lynn always does a great job with my hair. She and her staff have always been warm and welcoming to me and my children. My 3 year old loves to go see Lynn and friends. This is a beautiful salon with some of the most talented and friendly staff you can find. I highly recommend.
