Pleasant walk through the woods on often uneven paths. We went on a warm Sunday in early October and encountered no people until we were back at the trailhead kiosk. Almost immediately we saw a bobcat about 100 feet ahead on the trail and followed it for a couple of hundred feet before it disappeared over a rise. Only moderate changes in elevation and the trails and streams were quite dry due to an extended drought. The white trail especially was a bit overgrown and clearly not used as much. Heard two barred owls calling to each other in the middle of the day, and lots of other bird life as well. All in all a nice, short hike.

Was there about two months ago and it was so wet and buggy I left. Gonna try again .

This preserve has been behind my house since I was a child. Love taking my doggo there. Short but brisk hike - and beautiful, of course.

Not a great trail its in a strange place since its at the top of a apartment or condo complex. also its over grown with a lot of pickers sadly. their is the yellow trail I did then the blue is a little loop and also the white trail another loop all short and connects back to the yellow. its not easy to run with snow and ice for the winter liked I was trying to do. also if your going to hike it now be aware of the ice i almost slipped a few times myself . could cut back the prickers for sure it would help

Small nature preserve with about 1.5 to 2.0 miles of marked trails. Some soft sections on the trail due to water. The brooks have bridges, so no rock hopping. Took about 1.5 hours.
