Buyer Beware! JP Parks Heating and Cooling does not stand behind their work. They promise expertise, quality workmanship and emergency service. They couldn't deliver on any of it. Total failure on how to treat your customers. Seven months after hiring JP Parks to install a $35,000.00 Mitsubishi Heat Pump System the problems began. After first denying the existence of my claim, I had to find the source of the problem myself and send them a video to prove it. Then it took them 4 months to show up and attempt to repair their identified poor workmanship. They failed at the repair attempt and never verified that the reported leak was corrected. They never replaced the lost oil in the System resulting in a Major Compressor Failure 4 weeks later. Only 2 ounces of Refrigerant Oil was recovered from the original factory fill of 77 ounces. They wouldn't even respond to an emergency service request so I had to hire a Certified Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor to repair their mess costing an additional $9,000.00. After requesting that they reimburse me for having to spend all that money to correct their faulty work, they claimed it was my fault for not notifying them of the problem and giving them a chance to repair it. Total fabricated lies was their response. That required me to file a lawsuit against them. They wouldn't respond to a Department of Consumer Protection investigation. The lawsuit proceeded for the next 9 months with them avoiding multiple deposition requests where they would have to face the truth. With just weeks remaining before the trial was scheduled to begin, they filed for Bankruptcy. Effectively stopping the process. JP Parks then created a new company under another name: Parks Heating and Cooling. Prime example of un trustworthy actions by Michael Parks. One more dishonest action by Michael Parks needs mentioning. When I hired JP Parks Heating and Cooling, LLC. to do the install. I requested a certificate of insurance. Michael Parks told me he would give me a copy when he pulled the permit. In a very dishonest move, Michael Parks pulled the permit as a Sole Proprietor instead of the LLC that he represented, thereby avoiding having to present the certificate of insurance as part of the permitting process. This was not discovered until the permit application was examined after the fact. Shameful Actions by Michael Parks. And now he has started a new business under a different name. Buyers beware!
