See kangaroos, peacocks, lemurs, and zebras at our animal farm
Not the place for wild or exotic animals. This isn’t a sanctuary, it’s making animals suffer for people’s entertainment and profit. These animals are evidently not taken care of properly. Go to the Beardsley Zoo instead and actually support conservation instead of cruelty.
Unfortunately, we almost had a very scary incident during our visit. We were told we could feed the goats, but upon entering the farm the goats were not caged. Because of this, several of them ran toward my toddler, knocked her over, and nearly cornered her. She was terrified, and I had to quickly pull her into my arms. When I mentioned what happened, I was told, “Oh, they are going to do that.” In my opinion, this is extremely reckless and unsafe. Allowing animals to roam freely without clear warnings or proper safeguards puts children at risk. At the very least, there should be clearer instructions and better precautions to prevent something like this from happening again.
It was hot out which was no ones fault but it made our visit a little less enjoyable...It had some neat animals including Kangaroos, peacocks,lemurs,capabara,zebra & more...it was worth going to see what they had...
My adult son took me out for an afternoon and we ended up here. This was such an excellent escape and so relaxing and pleasant. I would recommend this farm for adults and children as they have so many interesting animals and the grounds were spotless. The only comment I would add is that I didn't mind paying $9.00 for myself and my son, but I think children under 10 or 12 should be less. When you have a big family, $9.00 per person is a lot, but otherwise it was a great experience.
Highwire Deer & Animal Farm is where my girlfriend I went and it was an experience to remember! Would recommend any one of any age to come down. The awesome animals, the cost, and overall experience is exactly why I'm a repeat customer. Would recommend to anyone!
