Updated: Back in town again and I had to stop by. The Tuna Tar Tar, Pan Fried Grouper, and Beet & Citrus Salad with Steak was so good! Apparently this is from Chef Carlos’ new menu. Our Old Fashioned and the Hot Watermelon Margarita were amazing and our server Demi was the cherry on top. Will be back! Stopped by for Sunday brunch today, and wow! Had pistachio martinis, tuna tostada, and chicken tikka masala as well as shrimp scampi for our mains. Everything was delectable. If I lived in town, I’d be a regular especially with the amazing service from Tyler. Was able to enjoy the patio with my pup. Will be back!

Excellent food and service. Scoring a 3 for atmosphere ONLY BECAUSE we sat out on the patio which is right on a very busy street with dumptrucks and tractor trailers passing by pretty consistently. Makes for a very loud dinner experience. Remodel looks great though, but they should've considered moving the outdoor seating to the back of the building. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

This is the most disappointing meal I’ve had since the ownership change. I heard they got a new chef who changed the menu. As I stated the atmosphere and service were great. Drinks also excellent. We ordered a half dozen oysters that were so tiny they should have not been served. My partner said his Pad Thai was very good. He would have liked the Wok Shrimp and vegetables but they took it off the menu. I adore artichokes so I tried the artichoke pasta which I thought was very bland. Was there any artichoke in the raviolis? The fried artichoke pieces on top were a good touch even though I didn’t want something fried. We tried the Crème Brûlée cheesecake for dessert. Where was the Crème Brûlée? Again, disappointing the cheesecake was dry. Our server, Demi was excellent!

This restaurant is a little drive for me, but so worth it! Happy hour is phenomenal. Food amazing. Bartender is just so sweet. Hopefully you get Tyler as your waiter as he’s so great. I cannot wait to go back!

My husband and I visited Good News for dinner after their recent ownership change and remodel, and we have to say we were impressed! Though I had never visited before, I had seen pictures of what it previously looked like inside, and you can tell they did extensive renovations, but it’s absolutely beautiful! The food was all delicious, and the short rib and scallops were cooked perfectly. Our server was kind and attentive. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu!
