I couldn't be happier with the work they did! I had a document from the 1800s and two coins mounted and framed. The staff there is extremely professional and they offer museum quality framing. I strongly recommend anyone who needs professional framing done to use Clapp & Tuttle.

So nice and helpful! I brought in a painting that had been found in my father’s home and they helped me to remove the frame and measured it for me. They also gave me a nice protective cover. I so appreciate everything they did for me! Highly recommend.

Clap & Tuttle did such a great job on my office artwork! At first, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to afford their services, all the frames they have on hand are really sophisticated and well made. Turns out they are also affordable too! The ladies there helped pick out a frame for enhance the window effect of the painting and the whole process was quick and painless! I would recommend them for all your framing needs!

Nancy and I want all you to know that Clapp & Tuttle is the best. We have been having our framing done there for years. They even had books at one time. But the arrival of Meike brought the shop up to an exciting new level! A talented artist herself, Meike brings her artistic skills, critical eye and patience to tease out just what we wanted. Be it a treasured family antique, or a friends painting, she always leaves us extremely pleased.

Mieke and the team at Clapp and Tuttle are AMAZING. There are plenty of places to “just get something framed” but Mieke helps you take your special piece or family heirlooms and turn them into incredible pieces for your walls/home. Mieke takes the time on each and every piece to find the perfect frame, the perfect mat the perfect size, etc. She has turned framing into it’s own design/art form and the results are stunning. We’ve brought her everything from paintings to simple family photos to antique photos of our great grandfather and each one ended up unique and special. We have had family and guests ask us where we had things framed because they are so beautiful and “not what everyone else has”. Just as important as the end product is the process with Mieke. She makes it a really fun design process with creativity. Telling the story of the pieces is part of it—where it will hang and what it’s meaning is. We love spending time with her making wonderful new heirlooms for our home. Do NOT go anywhere else...you will just get a frame and not an heirloom!
