At Timmers the bartender, who we suspect might have been the owner (but we're not sure), made me an AMAZING mocktail to start, and then heard it was our anniversary and opened a bottle of non alcoholic bubbly for us too! At first I was thankful but a bit bummed because I have sold wine as a job in my past and figured he gave us a standard one, but no! He heard and really listened when I said I don't really drink anymore, and gave us a n/a version, and one that's SO GOOD it's convincingly like the real thing. The ONLY difference I could tell was you didn't get the warm feeling, but otherwise it tasted identical to me. Also the mocktail had Juniper SANS in it which features ginseng and chili peppers, so while you can tell it's not gin, it still has a nice bite to it! We also had absolutely delicious food (deconstructed meatballs, cannolini soup and salad, rolls, BBQ door county cherry ribs and chicken gnocchi) and I'm actually so blown away by the wonderful anniversary dinner they provided for us. Easy 10/10.

Timmer’s did a FABULOUS job with our 50th Anniversary gathering. The event manager/planner did an exceptional job in providing a curated list of foods for our guests, going so far as to provide choices for those with dietary restrictions. The availability of outdoor seating areas and kid-friendly entertainment (bocci balls and bags) was an added bonus. We have been coming to Timmer’s for years, and we are thrilled that they are back on the “circuit” of event venues. HIGHLY recommend. Thanks, Tony and crew!

I do not give away 5 stars often but Timmers checked every box. It has a great UpNorth Supper Club feel in a new and fresh way. The place is beautiful, the food and drinks outstanding and service awesome. The grounds are also very nice and you can walk down to the lake. Aaliyah was our server. She did a perfect job and was fun to talk to. The Scallops and the 6 oz Filet were perfectly cooked and so tasty. We also had the Summer Salad and Hot Bacon Salad which were both very good. The only pain point was parking. We had to park on the road quite a ways away from the restaurant.

Brunch with a view AND the best vibes — yes please 🤍 Huge shoutout to Troy for connecting me to Timmer’s Resort… this place is truly something special. Right on the water, cozy, and the kind of spot you could stay at for hours ✨ We were so well taken care of from start to finish! Tony the owner even stopped by too and was so kind and welcoming Allison our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, with the best recommendations Sarah stopped by and made us feel so welcomed And Jeff… next level! Not only were the drinks amazing, but he even brought out a bocce ball set for us to play — such a fun touch 🙌 Now let’s talk FOOD because wow… Sunday’s chicken & waffles special = OUTSTANDING 🔥 Korean BBQ glaze + sugared waffles… I’m still thinking about it We also tried: • Meat lovers scramble • Breakfast burger • French toast • Benedict Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth it 🙌 Drinks were just as good 🍸 Espresso martini ✔️ NA margarita ✔️ And the best part… we grabbed mimosas and took a walk down to the water 🥂 Blueberry mimosa + NA sparkling mimosa on a beautiful day = perfection This is your sign to plan your next brunch here — whether it’s with your girlfriends, family, or a full celebration. It’s also an AMAZING spot to host events (fun fact: our waitress actually got married here and is now stepping into event coordinating starting in June — how cool is that?!) We will absolutely be back 🤍

If you haven’t made it back out to Timmer’s Resort Restaurant since the recent sale and refresh… put it on your list! We stopped in last Friday for fish fry and WOW… hands down one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. And in Wisconsin, that’s saying something! 🐟 First, I love that they take reservations (a Friday night win 🙌) and even let you choose your space—dining room, parlor, bar, or porch. I chose the dining room and walked into a beautiful, cozy space anchored by a soaring fireplace… the perfect setting to relax and settle in for the evening. Now let’s talk fish fry… we tried it three ways: baked, beer battered, and cornflake crusted (which had the most amazing crunch!). Each plate came with three very generous pieces of fish, plus your choice of sides—baked potato, fries, or potato pancakes—along with thick rye bread and coleslaw. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. And yes… the old fashioneds did not disappoint either 🥃 We skipped dessert (barely!) but the menu looked tempting. Honestly, the portions alone made it feel like a complete experience. What really stood out? The value. Great quality, generous portions, beautiful setting—it all adds up to a place we’ll absolutely be returning to.
