Stone Harbor Resort is a hotel in Sturgeon Bay. We offer warm rooms and suites at our waterside complex, which features two pools, a marina, a restaurant, and free Wi-Fi.
Not being able to get in our room at 4pm. No towels for pool area. Furniture in room made out of cardboard, small fridge on floor, so you have to bend way down to use,no chair in room to sit.Very Dissatisfied ! Stayed here 15 years ago it was beautiful, but not now. One couple with 3 children booked months in advance for a wedding, got a king size bed for 5 people. BAD

We recently stayed at Stone Harbor Resort; we were very disappointed with the accommodations. We tried to discuss this with the manager on duty, she refused to come out of her office. We emailed the general manager and have not heard back from him. We wrote a letter to Stone Harbor and have not heard back from them. All the issues we had are as follows.
1. When we first entered the room, it was very hot, apparently the air conditions where not turned on. It took a good 3 hours to the rooms to a comfortable temperature. When we pay the kind of money they charge, we should not have to go through this. I asked the front desk about the heat, the first person was helpful, but the 2nd person got very defensive.
2. We had to clean up a big puddle of water in the middle of the floor.
3. We only had enough towels for 4 people, when we went to the desk for more towels, they were always out of towels. The accommodations where for 5.
4. The TV in the bedroom did not work at all, the other 2 TV’s where obviously very old, along with the remotes they did not work very go. So bad in fact that we did not use them.
5. There was not any type of dining room table, when we ate, we had to huddle around the coffee table.
6. There were only 2 very uncomfortable chairs and 1 small couch. To be honest the furniture looked like 1960’s style that was bought at a rummage sale. Remember they rented us accommodations for 5.
7. We ran the dish washer; it sounded like it was going to take off. Even worse is it did not clean the dishes; we had wash them all by hand.
8. The toaster only toasted the bread on 1 side.
9. There was not enough dishware for 5 people. We had 3 forks, 3 spoons and limited dishes. We had to go out and by paper plates and plastic forks, spoons and knifes.

We stayed here for three nights during the busy summer tourist season while on a road trip, paying approximately $900 for our stay.
Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing hotel we experienced during our three-week trip.
The room was quite small, and upon arrival the coffee station was stocked only with decaffeinated coffee. Throughout our stay, housekeeping never replenished the coffee, replaced our towels, or restocked any amenities. In fact they never showed up.
The property also showed several signs of deferred maintenance. The windows had failed seals and were fogged over, the shower head provided such low water pressure that washing your hair was difficult, and the window blinds had missing slats, allowing sunlight to stream into the room early each morning.
What was most disappointing was the lack of attention to the guest experience. At no point did anyone from management check in to see how our stay was going or whether we needed anything.
Could we have called the front desk and requested replacements? Certainly. We're easygoing travelers and chose not to make a fuss during our vacation. Instead, we're sharing our experience here so future guests know what to expect.
Based on our experience, there are likely better places to stay in the area, especially considering the price.

We were invited by Kesha L. an employee of the resort.
We had an absolutely wonderful Mother’s Day brunch at Stone Harbor in Sturgeon Bay! The food selection was excellent with something for everyone, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special without being over the top.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, which made it perfect for celebrating with family for Mother’s Day. From the beautiful waterfront setting to the great service and well-organized brunch, it was a memorable way to spend Mother’s Day. We’ll definitely be back!

Our first visit to this incredible destination was truly unforgettable. The staff's warm hospitality, exceptional dinner and breakfast on the deck, peaceful Sunday morning coffee on our private patio, and vibrant evening with friends, complete with drinks and live music, all came together to create a truly exceptional experience. The views were absolutely breathtaking. I'm excited to share my enthusiastic endorsement of this outstanding resort, and we're already eagerly anticipating our next visit.
