Winery offering tasting flights and wine club membership in Sturgeon Bay
Wonderful place to start my Door County wine experience! Snacks available for purchase were much appreciated. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Best part of a tasting experience is having a wine nerd telling you all about their wine - and you can definitely get that here! Plus the tastings are flights you can take inside or outside. And there are reasonably priced bottles as well! It's like they hit all the boxes of what makes a winery feel great.
THE BEST winery in Door County! At least in my opinion. Each winery has their own unique base flavor and this one IS IT for us! The Marquette Reserve and Fronzen Tundra original were spectacular! Derrick was great at the tasting counter! Hmmmm, should we join the wine club? Probably!
This is always our first stop when we go to Door County! The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable about the wines they have there. They usually have great entertainment when the weather is nice!
We had the best time celebrating our anniversary! Claudia, (I believe her name was) manager was so sweet and explained the whole process to us. Our first time here was so enjoyable! We will definitely be back
My wife and I were looking for a winery to visit with an afternoon in Door County and we decided to come here and were not disappointed at all! The staff was very friendly and conversational. I'm actually quite happy that we came in the off season and avoided crowds. We did a tasting and of course left with a few bottles of wine. If they have their iced cider available, it's definitely worth a try! I would certainly come back to Door 44 and recommend it to anyone looking for great tasting wines!
