This place is one you don't want to miss if your in Slinger! The atmosphere was very pleasant with a sports bar feel and it wasn't so loud we couldn't hear each other like most sports bars! The owner was absolutely amazing as well as our server! This place will definitely be where we go to eat when we are in Slinger. Well done Jug's!!!
I got the wrong chicken sandwich, when i asked the waitress, she said she accidentally put in the wrong sandwich on the order. The one they brought me was covered in avocado, I hate avocados. She said she would take it back and get the right one made. I had eaten a couple of fries and the were hot and fresh. A few minutes later she brought out the correct chicken sandwich. I could tell right away they took the wrong chicken off and put the right chicken on, as the bun had remains of avocado on it, and the fries were barely warm, kind of like they were sitting around waiting for a chicken replacement. The correct chicken sandwich was very good. My wife had a burger on a gluten-free bun. She said the bun was very good for a gluten-free bun. She also said the burger had no flavor. The fries were undercooked, basic and very salty. We went through our sodas about half way through our meals and our waitress NEVER offered us a refill. I also watch a staff member clean a table and put a unused togo box that was left on the table back on the pile of togo boxes. In the end it two sandwiches and two sodas ( no refills) were $46. I gave her $52. I would have tipped her more if they had discounted something for the error and if they had remade my whole order, And if they had refilled our drinks. I usually will give a place more then one go before i make a final decision about the place. I was however very disappointed in cheap practices they were using. Reusing my bun and fries. Reusing a togo box. Not offering refills. Not offering to credit our bill in someway for incorrectly put my order in. Thats just four observations in less than 30 minutes. That just has cheap restaurant practices all over it.
My food personally (pictured) I did enjoy. The cheese curds are made with cheddar and the chicken strips were nicely crisp on the outside, flavorfull breading. Moist on the inside. The breading on the cheese curds has no seasoning, but the cheese did so it all evened out. The burgers were VERY greasy, but I was told they are good. The fries were salted to my liking, but not crispy at all. They did not skimp on the toppings on the pizza, but it was just okay flavor wise.
Went to jugs pub and grill on a Sunday. It was moderately busy, but that's to be expected on a nice spring day. We got sat right away and had a couple cocktails and apps. The service was excellent our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food was ok nothing exciting, but it's a very nice clean establishment. Cool arcade room and bowling alley for the kids. We'll be back for sure
Stopped in for a quick bite while passing through town - think this spot pretty new, but it's got a sick sports bar vibe. Wife and I shared a patty melt and it was one of the best I've had. Drinks were great , presentation and all. Fun atmosphere, good food, and solid drinks - we'll def be back!"
