Coming from 30 year old and 8 year old beginner mountain bikers, this place was amazing. The trails offer a great mix of challenges for both beginners and more experienced riders. My 8 year old had fun on Fraggle Rock building his confidence on the trails. Having repair stands and hoses nearby is a thoughtful touch for maintaining bikes. And those alternate paths around obstacles are perfect for easing into the trails (you will have to go through the grass to get around some of the stone/rock sections). It is definitely a place worth revisiting!

We are incredibly lucky to have him, building and donating his time along with all the other volunteers. Heritage Trails County Park could become one of the best destinations for mountain biking in the Midwest... or anywhere.
Show moreWhat a great place! Mountain Bike Trails, hiking and disc golfing. We snowshoes the MTB trails and it's BEAUTIFUL. lots of room to roam! The trail stewards have done an exceptional job and have finally made this park a GO TO spot even for out of towners!
