Overall, this place was fantastic. Centrally located in Sheboygan, but not quite in the heart of downtown.
This was more ‘motel’-ish in the sense that there is no 24/7 desk, no restaurant, and 1st level rooms are accessible from the ground floor - but this place was charming just the same. Friendly service, dog friendly rooms, and very eco-friendly, this was a quiet stay on the Sheboygan River for my son’s soccer tournament.
Nice little dock on the river that we caught some fish from.
Well appointed continental breakfast - had Kringle, cereal, and some microwaveable options (Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and breakfast corn dogs).
Rooms were good size, not too fancy, but clean and well maintained.
Show moreVery clean dog friendly place. Recently built and still very new looking. All staff I met were very helpful and friendly. I love the location near the river and though our room was on the opposite side, I did not hear any outside type or road noise. Our little 10lb “Nugget”, loved it too. I felt very safe at 3:30 AM, venturing out with her to potty. The complimentary breakfast was nice to have.
If you are looking for a good place to stay with your dog in Sheboygan I highly recommend the Watershed.
Show moreThis was my first visit to Sheboygan and I am so glad we picked the Watershed Hotel to stay overnight. We called the hotel directly to book our reservation and the person who assisted us was extremely accommodating and helpful.
The hotel reception area was spacious and clean. Lots of big windows so it felt light and had a pleasant atmosphere. There was a built-in gas fireplace which made the reception area cozy. Our rooms were spacious with big windows overlooking the river. Very clean and comfortable furnishings. Nice bathroom with a large walk-in shower. During our stay, there were two different people at the reception desk and they were both knowledgeable about the area and very welcoming. We asked for restaurant suggestions for lunch and dinner and the options they mentioned ended up being fantastic. Each time we came in and out of the hotel we were greeted warmly. Honestly, the people there made us feel like a combination of VIPs and family!
The continental breakfast had several cold options (cereal, yogurt, packaged pastry, fruit, etc.) and items you could microwave (breakfast sandwiches) or different kinds of bread and bagels you could toast. Plenty of choices.
I would recommend this hotel to family and friends and I would certainly stay here again the next time I am in the area.
In addition to having a very nice facility, they are doing a fantastic job of selecting and training their guest services people!
Show moreEasiest and friendliest check-in we've had in years. Clean room. Loved the walk-in showers. Bed and pillows were a bit hard for me but that's common with most hotels. Loved the view of the river and we saw our first robin of the spring out the window while eating breakfast by the fireplace.
