We went for the food trucks... Great location, but... -The trucks are great, parking can be a challenge. Expect a walk of a block or more to get to the trucks. -There are very few tables or places to sit and eat... VERY few. Combi e that with people who finish early and just occupy the tables (not eating) socializing, on their phones n etc. Come on people... eat and move on... let others have a place to sit and eat! We no longer buy food and eat...we buy food and take food to go. -The same night as the Vollrath Park food trucks is the Kiwanis food trucks. We go there instead. More parking shorter walk, shorter lines, and plenty of tables if you want to walk to the beer garden (just remember that the beer garden is there to make money too so BUY SOME OF THEIR BEVERAGES before they don't allow carry-in food anymore.) The only drawback to Kiwanis that I can think of is there are fewer trucks BUT, they are ALL GREAT trucks. Get out and ENJOY!!!

Really surprised at how much there was to do here. I am back on Pokémon Go so i stopped here to spin stops and let the kids play a while. Large bowl shaped grassy area for rolling, running, riding, or sports. Playground, bball court, and food trucks! I forgot to stop at one.

One of the OG Wisconsin courses from back in the Frisbee days (late '70s I believe). Mostly short holes with lots of ace runs (only a few over 300'). Uses the Vollrath Bowl elevation pretty well to create some fun holes. Beginner friendly. Unfortunately, they altered the design. The old hole 12 was a tweener hole and nothing special, but 13 was a longer hole playing parallel to Lake Michigan that brought water into play. It offered great views and a spot to pause your round. 14 was a short challenger going uphill about 60 degrees to a basket on a treacherous green. The replacement holes pale in comparison.

So many activities to do at this park, sledding, basketball, pickleball, tennis, 18 hole disc golf course, playground, picnic tables, summertime food trucks. On a recent walk through Vollrath Park I enjoyed nature's art. Two trees caught my attention that morning their root system spoke to me reminding me how trees relay on other trees when struggling as humans do too while I often forget to reach of help. The lake comforts me too that day the trees have hugs. I am grateful for all the beautiful parks in the City of Sheboygan. Thank you

I love how they keep this park clean. It is a great quite place for a nap in the sun, play some disc golf, plus let the kids play. Also amazing in the winter if we ever get snow these hills are great for anything fun!
