My wife and I decided to try this restaurant again after a few years. The last time that we dined here, we were barely given the time of day. Unfortunately, we experienced much of the same. While the food was fantastic, unless you are one of their more affluent customers you will not receive quality service. Our server was few and far between while we saw him stop for extended periods of time at other tables. We remained friendly, because there was no point in being rude back. After the meal, he said, “have a good night…Y’all” in the most derogatory tone that my wife and I have ever experienced. We have never felt less welcome in a restaurant.

First, our server, August, was excellent! To eat, my wife and I shared the carpaccio, which was fantastic. It had a bright, lemony flavor with fresh Parmesan, arugula, and some fresh pepper on top. The Rustika salad was great as well. The combination of gorgonzola and pecorino was incredible, especially paired with the roasted grapes and apples. It had that perfect mix of sweet, savory, and tangy. For entrées, my wife got the Della Nonna with in house made gluten free noodles, and I got the ossobuco which was delicious! The veal was incredibly tender and flavorful, and scooping out the bone marrow was a treat. I also loved the risotto on the side which was creamy and rich. For my dessert, I had the tiramisu, and it did not disappoint! It was super creamy with a perfectly soaked bottom layer, which is just the way I like it.

Just celebrated a birthday dinner and had excellent food and a great atmosphere. I also had a birthday in here 30 years ago, and the food has remained absolutely excellent, as the service has remained top-notch. It’s hard to find a restaurant that can continue a wonderful tradition of imaginative cuisine, excellent quality, and a comfortable atmosphere.

Enjoyed a New Years Eve dinner here! It was really wonderful overall. The place is cute, service is great. The food was a pre fix menu so I can’t speak for the regular menu. It was delicious, especially the Antipasti. Wine selection and cocktail list was extensive. The owner was present during dinner service, Whitney, which I loved! She’s personable and welcoming (support local). I would highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Kohler, it’s a 10 minute drive from the hotel properties.
