Old-timey railroad-themed eatery for broaster chicken and draft beer
We were in town from Oklahoma and our family said we had to try Gosse,'. Our 8 yr old loved the huge plate of Chiken tenders and French fries. The soup was to die for.The Chicken sandwich and Steak sandwiches were amazing.We will definitely be back.
Not bad, especially for take out, very limited hours and it's always busy, so you'll have to wait a little or order to go. Food is limited menu but they do what they do right. Nice friendly people and prices aren't bad. Worth a visit or call to go.
Had just rolled into Sheboygan and wanted to go with a great well established local food non pretentious place for a quick lunch. The Northwestern House checked all the Sheboygan food boxes. Sandwiches on hard rolls and tortes ! Love that the sandwiches are delivered to your table wrapped in paper - no plates. Roll of paper towels on the table for napkins. Both the Walleye sandwich and the steak sandwich did not disappoint. We shared an order of onion rings which were good. We were full but had to try a torte. When in Rome lol. Saw the sign board which had a long laundry list of flavors so we asked which flavors they had - “ALL OF THEM”! Wow Tortes were a fun new to us treat. Prices are AMAZING in today’s world. Saw lots and lots of old fashioned drinks coming out of the bar but we didn’t try.
Family was visiting out of state and wanted brats. We all ordered them and were pleasantly pleased. Grilled to perfectly, and nice and juicy! Definitely would love to try a fish fry, and chicken!
The steak sandwich!!! It is absolutely delicious. It does require a roll of paper towels or a stack of napkins, as it's loaded with butter. But it's so good. Paired with sweet potato fries-the best meal you can have. And their tortes are amazing! I always get at least one as a take home for later, they are not to be missed.
