Providing bus transit, specialized services, and intercity routes for Sheboygan
CSR's on SM and MC are surly and a bit condescending and deal w you like you're stupid when the opposite is seemingly more appropriate. Simple question repeated as if it doesn't make sense. They need more service training for manners.
Usually I don't leave lengthy reviews but I believe that Shoreline Metro deserves it. I've been taking the bus almost every day for the last 2 years and I can without a doubt say it's been worth it. Some drivers do have some anger issues but I digress. I want to firstly thank Mark who is one the bus drivers. Mark is an amazing driver and is extremely friendly and overall a nice man. There's been several times where I almost miss the bus but he's seen me and stopped without even thinking twice. He's a true gentleman and I appreciate all the hard work he's done for Shoreline! Thanks Mark for making the busses feel so welcoming! I'd also like to thank the bus drivers particularly the ones that run 3 south. All of the drivers have been extremely friendly to me and my friends and are great to chat to. Thanks again Shoreline for being so reliable and allowing me to live life without a car!!!
I've lived in many cities across the country without a car and I have to say that the public transit here in Sheboygan is actually one of the better systems I've used. The buses come every 30 minutes, are clean and are almost always on time. Reliability is a hugely important factor when it comes to ridership. I do wish the buses ran on Sunday as it's impossible for me to get to my church in Sheboygan Falls without a ride with a friend, and I wish there was better communication to new riders overall. (Where to stand on which side of the street etc, and that you need to call for certain pickups to be made, and that there's a detour because of road construction.) Regular riders know this stuff, but new riders have to learn by trying and failing. Overall it's a good system! I'd love to see if they can bring back Sunday hours and improve communication, but I would gladly recommend using it to anyone!
Most of the drivers are nice, but some not so well but overall great busing services and that bruce guy so kind sometimes is at my workplace
I take the bus every day to get to and from work. Usually it's fine, except for one jerk Busdriver on the 7S at 3:45pm. He's out here kicking kids off the bus taunting them that he is going to leave them if their app doesn't go faster. Today a kid was getting his bike off the rack and the driver was hollering that they didn't have all day and that he's "seen girls go faster than that!" The man doesn't belong in public service.
