Park with a large grass area and shallow water for kitesurfing
The beach was okay. I didn't see any of the offered amenities. There was a huge construction site taking up a good portion of the top area of the beach Tons of broken concrete at the top of the beach also, would recommend shoes as you walk the path to the beach. The water was full of algae.
Gorgeous beach with playground and building to rent. Paths were shoveled and the snow stayed in the pressed artwork of the sidewalk.
Great place to kite on a South wind. Thermals make it ridable even when predictions call for SW wind. If it is sunny and a South wind, it will be ridable no matter what the forecasts say. Can be good on a north as well. Large grass area to set up and lots of beach to walk or setup on. Large public Park with bathrooms, picnic area, playground and rental party room just south or kiting area
Unique location. Prevailing winds and shallow water, due to to currently high Lake M. levels, make it an ideal kiters haven.
so fun to watch the kitesurfers. water looks like the Caribbean.
