The burger I had was a perfect diner burger- cooked well, enough butter on the bun to be a butter burger, not too much in the way of condiments... perfect! Good fries, great service even though there was only one server for the entire place! She kept up with incoming diners, efficiently got drinks and food to people who had ordered, and checked out people who were leaving quickly and accurately! The atmosphere is nothing to write home about - it's basic mom-and-pop diner, no frills but good food. And they use real charcoal to grill their bratwurst and burgers!!!

It's nice to see that meat is cooked with real charcoal, not many places do that any more... Fries are always over cooked though... Only 3 stars due to health concerns... They don't use gloves when putting sandwiches together, and alot of cross- contamination going on from beginning to end! The cooked touches raw meat then helps put other sandwiches together... and touches other bins of ingredients, so if meat had contamination, then everything else now does too.. then touches glasses, cash register, change back, then passing it on and on...

I had a pretty disappointing experience at Schulz Restaurant. First off, when my burger was brought out, a giant wad of butter literally fell out of it.. not exactly appetizing. Service didn’t make things any better. Our waitress came across as rude and inattentive. To make things more awkward, some people at our table were given plates while others weren’t. When someone in our party asked, “We don’t get plates?”, the waitress walked away, then came back with a single plate and sarcastically said, “just for you.” Meanwhile, one other person in our group of five never got a plate at all. On top of that, the food itself wasn’t anything special. Honestly, you can get the same quality at a fast food place for less money and a lot less attitude. Overall, not a great experience. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

This restaurant is AMAZING!!! The staff was wonderful and attentive! And the food... THE FOOD!!!! So delicious!!!! This place is the perfect meet and eat with friends. The prices are so friendly its easy to return again and again.

I finally was able to catch them open after many times of passing through Sheboygan and boy am I glad I did! The combo brat/hamburger burger is one of the tastiest burgers I've had in a long time! I really loved the local baked hard rolls that they use, and that charcoal flavor on the meat is just amazing! Very good prices and such a nostalgic restaurant.
