First time going and when the bartender asked what I wanted to drink I asked for a menu because I was starving. She immediately got rude for whatever reason and replied with “but to drink” with crazy attitude. I just asked for a water and she made a face and asked for my ID which I had no issue with. As I was pulling it out she asked if I was even 21 and I said yes. She yanked my ID out of my hand and I was genuinely baffled. I asked her why she was being so hostile and she just scoffed at me then walked away with my ID. I ended up saying we were just going to leave and she made some snarky comment. She even told her other bar guests what happened so some lady said “it’s the law” when I walked out. I’m assuming she told them I didn’t want to provide ID or something. I wish I got her name but it was some blonde lady with messed up bangs that looks like she’s been smoking stuff she shouldn’t be smoking. I’ve never left a review in my life but I have never been treated this way in a restaurant.

We stopped here for lunch on our anniversary weekend away. The staff was attentive and friendly. We shared some amazing cheese curds. The burgers tasted like they were fresh off a charcoal grill. Everything was excellent and HOT!! Highly recommend. We'll definitely stop back in when we're in the Sheboygan area again!

Nine O Two in Sheboygan, WI is such a solid spot. The vibe is relaxed, the staff is friendly, and everything just feels easy. I tried the famous Hoffbraw and it was delicious — definitely worth the hype. Great food, good portions, and an overall chill place to grab a meal.

My sister and I stopped here on our trip home to the UP from Milwaukee. We looked up “best restaurant in Sheboygan, WI” and Nine-O-Two on the Avenue” came up. It was a bit more off of Hwy 43 than we realized, but not too bad. The food came out super quickly & was DELICIOUS! We had a Hawaiian Chicken sandwich with fries & a brisket Reubens’s sandwich with fries. Both sandwiches & the fries were AMAZING - kudos to the cook!!! Both the chicken & Reuben were really tender. It is a really cool looking bar. Only high top seating, which was somewhat of a challenge for my mom, but it worked. The bartender/waitress took our orders & brought food out quickly, but was not very friendly or personable. We could also tell that all the people at the bar were locals & were somewhat loud & not great language, but we realized that we were in a bar & grill so weren’t totally surprised or upset. The owner was present & welcomed us when we came in & offered to close a window that was open if we were cold & was friendly.
