I was shocked to experience at Nett-Work that I would describe as something that made me feel much worse than when I entered therapy. Christine Nett, the therapist, did not appear to listen to the actual situation I presented to her. Rather, she quickly decided to interject her opinions and observations, which I found were not accurate to my situation. I understand that there may be some variance between what a therapist and a patient thinks/feels, but in this case, I presented obvious and clear information that she simply didn't seem to accept, or pay attention to. Based on this, she gave her advice on what I was to do/work on, which was ineffective, probably because her assumptions about the situation were wrong in the first place. I attempted to clarify some of the points she made, and I was met with a dismissive and angry response, as if she was "triggered" that I would question her authority. Ironically, I observed very strong narcissistic behavior from her throughout my sessions. I don't like to say this without some clear thought, but it does appear that Ms. Nett should participate in her own therapy. I definitely do not think that she should be working with people that are in need of mental and emotional guidance. I was able to get some clear and strightforward help from another therapist outside of Nett-Work. It was a dramatic difference in experience. While I understand that therapists have different disciplines and/or personal approaches, I can't think of how someone would genuinely benefit from Ms. Nett's approach or attitude.

If you have mental or physical health issues that prevent you from keeping a perfect schedule, they will refuse to treat you. Good luck if you have ADHD, panic attacks, etc.
