I went to get dry ice which unfortunately they were out of stock. Wish I had more time to really digest, no pun intended the meat selection which looked incredible. They also have an amazing selection of flesh cheeses

Awesome local bratwursts--many varieties--and specialty meats, cheeses, liquor and interesting local food items and gifts. Misfeld's products have a limited circulation. It is worth the drive to have them in your freezer. I was just there today from Milwaukee to stock up for Memorial day. Your guests will definitely be smiling if you do the same!

Sadly, I have to write a disappointing review. Every year, I order a whole ham from Miesfelds. 3 weeks ago, I placed my order for the largest whole ham available. We have 16 people for Easter dinner and everyone expects to take leftovers home with them. Today I went to pick up the whole ham only to find 1) they had my order on a slip but no ham waiting 2) no whole ham at all. I ended up having to choose 2 half hams from the case. The clerk explained that they didn’t get whole hams this year. The man behind the counter acted like it was no big deal. Just pick 2 it’s the same thing. It’s not at all the same thing. I choose to spend my money at a specialty butcher- I call ahead and expect my order to be filled. Why didn’t they call me to explain ahead of time so I could have found another option? I am disappointed. What’s the point of all your expansion if you can’t uphold the customer service that’s expected of your company? Really unhappy. Guess I need to try a new butcher. I hear Brochmans is top quality.

Love this place! Chicken pot pie gyros meatloaf all the frozen meals to go have been great! I get my ground chicken and beef here as well. I like that they know where the meat comes from. Service is great and staff is friendly. I spend a small fortune when I come here but I believe it’s worth it. We stock up about 3 weeks at a time. Can’t wait to dig into the jumbo shrimp!

It is a meat market. They have a great selection of all kinds of meats. There natural casing hot dogs are excellent. They have a variety of sausages, from just plain to fancy. There steak selection is large, but they can and do sell out of certain cuts. There restaurant steaks are great and a example of what sells out. It's a very pleasant drive from Madison, just shy of 2 hours. Well worth the trip for the quality. Bring a cooler or 2.
