Beautiful, perfect place to enjoy a beautiful summer afternoon! Not too crowded and the bathrooms with outside rinsing showers were great to have nearby. The water was so clear and beautiful.

Huge beach area. Shower and changing rooms. Small playground. When we were there a dozen parasailers were enjoying the day. Fun to watch!

I'm in love with this beach!! My new favorite! Water was so clean and clear! Loved every minute of swimming! Clean bathrooms, free parking, no fee to enter. Plenty space to put your towel down! Close to many restaurants! Highly recommend!!

We LOVE King Park! The walk from your vehicle to the beach is short and easy. The bathroom pavilion is nice and there is a shower to rinse the sand right there. There’s a shaded park close to the beach- so when our kids would get tired of swimming - we could keep our beach spot and jump between beach and park. So convenient! The water is nice and shallow. Compared to other beaches- this one doesn’t seem to get the seasonal algae that can be smelly and inconvenient to swim in. Overall a clean family friendly beach. Also, it feels safer with little kids- compared to Deland- because there’s less sidewalk and driving traffic. Hope that helps!

I visit most mornings and stretch to the sound of the waves coming to shore in rows. Then I get a few shots of the sunrise. The best start to my day!
