Wood-fired Neapolitan pizzeria, wine bar, deli, and Italian grocery
Pretty good place the food was good so was the bread. My pizza came out at a good time. The only couple issues we had was the wait time and also the table that we got was right next to where the people kept walking by not only on the sidewalk, which was kind of expected, but rather, especially the people going in and outside of the building but overall, it was a pretty nice place
We loved experiencing Trattoria Stefano’s sister restaurant. They have a beautiful wood fired oven, which you can see from your table. To start, we had the Caprese Due, which was excellent. The mozzarella and tomatoes were incredibly fresh. I loved the buffalo mozzarella in it which was super creamy. My wife got a gluten free Margherita pizza with arugula, which she really enjoyed. I had a white pizza with lamb, and it was really good. The lamb had great flavor, and the crust was fantastic. It wasn’t overly charred, which I appreciated. For dessert, we had the affogato, which was delicious. The hazelnut and vanilla ice cream, with fresh hazelnuts, made it feel rich and indulgent without being too heavy with the strong espresso.
It truly felt like stepping into an Italian restaurant. This classy, old timey eatery had me satisfied, wanting more and captivated at the presence, flavor and all around vibe… thanks to the folks 3 sheep’s brewing across the way for the recommendation. This was another reminder why I always ask the locals for the best eating tips.
I was visiting town for work and this spot came highly recommended by a local, so I decided to give it a try. Overall, I’d rate it a solid 4 out of 5. The food was pretty good. It seems like pizza is their specialty, and that’s definitely what I’d recommend leaning into if you go. I was hoping for a few more pasta options, but that’s on me for not checking the menu ahead of time. Service wasn’t the strongest part of the experience, though it may have just been an off night. My silverware was taken with my appetizer plate, and it took about 10 minutes to get new utensils, which meant my meal sat in front of me while I waited. Not ideal, but these things happen. Overall, still a good experience and worth checking out - especially if you’re in the mood for pizza.
Italy, here in Sheboygan! Pizza is amazing. Fresh, homemade ingredients with a crispy yet chewy crust. The gelato is also very refreshing but the Espresso Martini beats them all
