Stayed here for one night while we were in town for a tournament. Upon checking in, the tax amount charged to the room seemed exceptionally high and the representative could not give me a breakdown, nor was she willing to look into it and get back to me. Rather, she told me I could talk to a manager the next day. Definitely a training moment for management to make sure staff understands the breakdown of tax charged to a room. The place was quiet, even with multiple teams staying the night. Our one bedroom suite was spacious and included a small studio size kitchen. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but doable for the one night we were there. It looks like the place had a refresh with new paint, flooring and furnishings but you could definitely see the wear throughout the hotel. We skipped the free breakfast as the options were minimal and the hot breakfast didn’t look appetizing. Convenient downtown location and free parking.

I recently, stayed 4 nights at the Grand Stay. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm friendly, smile ☺️ by the front desk person. The room was extra clean, it seemed this time. 👍 I just love the vaulted ceilings, it gives the room such a spacious feeling. Like your getting "more for your money" lol. The beds are comfy and professionally, made up. Looks so inviting. Kitchen has everything you would have at home, you don't need to bring a thing. We don't go out to eat, so we enjoy cooking all our meals in our room. We rented the Suite with 2 bedrooms. TV in every room. Nice closet space. Plenty of windows for sunlight or fresh breeze. The curtains are very thick and can block out all light even in the day. Bathroom is good size, nice tall shower. There is a hot complimentary , breakfast every morning 🌄☕ Carpet is clean, but wouldn't mind if they upgraded. 😉 The best part really, for me though, is the staff. Every time we stay...the staff have been very helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, especially, Fannie, the head Manager. She has been there for a long time and really understands people. She is good at her job and goes above and beyond. We no longer have to think about where we are going to be staying when we visit Sheboygan, because we already know. ☺️👍

A nice hotel, decent breakfast (eggs a bit overcooked, but I get it, it's a buffet). There's an issue where the bed sheets and blanket for one of our rooms were not clean, and had a long black hair (not ours). They brought up a replacement blanket and sheet, but didn't seem too concerned that it occurred in the first place.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The owner and receptionist were beyond helpful and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Great stay for the affordability, room and location. We could walk to so many wonderful restaurants, shops and museums. Looking forward to returning!

This wasn't just a room, it was an apartment with a lot of space. The kitchen had full sized appliances. We were there with our dog and were pleased that the $25 dog fee was for the whole stay, not for each night, like most other places. The breakfast was better than most hotels, everything was immaculate, staff helpful - really it was just really nice. We'll go there again.
